{"id":16244,"date":"2019-04-08T17:12:09","date_gmt":"2019-04-08T09:12:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tri-cap.com.sg\/?p=16244"},"modified":"2019-04-09T09:56:05","modified_gmt":"2019-04-09T01:56:05","slug":"vice-president-real-estate-debt-fund","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tri-cap.com.sg\/?p=16244","title":{"rendered":"Director \/ Senior Director &#8211; Real Estate Debt Fund"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Your primary responsibilities shall include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with potential borrowers and sponsors active in real estate investments in the target markets<\/li>\n<li>Origination, underwriting and management of loans backed by the commercial real estate as per the fund &#8216;s investment guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Analyse lending opportunities in the real estate mezzanine debt space using financial modelling, sensitivity analyses, exit and returns analyses, due diligence on industry fundamentals\/drivers<\/li>\n<li>Making recommendations on lending terms and pricing to the Head of the debt fund and negotiating heads of terms with borrowers<\/li>\n<li>Preparing clear, concise investment committee papers analysing the lending opportunity in detail, assessing merits and key risks of the deal. Presenting the opportunity to investment committee, responding to Q&amp;A and making recommendations<\/li>\n<li>Full transaction execution responsibilities, including:<\/li>\n<li>Instructing and engaging with third party advisers to conduct due diligence on the fund&#8217;s behalf<\/li>\n<li>Negotiating loan and security documentation with the team&#8217;s legal advisers and borrowers<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing property, valuation and insurance due diligence materials as required<\/li>\n<li>Undertaking customer set-up (KYC) requirements<\/li>\n<li>Arranging drawdown notices and liaising with internal and third party (e.g. agent) teams as needed to ensure transactions complete in a timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining detailed files and records and post-closing, ongoing liaison with borrowers<\/li>\n<li>Working with and oversight of more junior team members to assist with transactions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree qualification in finance, economics, commerce, real estate or related discipline<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 8 to 12 years&#8217; relevant working experience in a related industry<\/li>\n<li>Experience in real estate banking and\/or real estate investment would be preferred but candidates from related disciplines will also be considered<\/li>\n<li>Solid financial modelling skills and strong research, quantitative and analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in oral and written English and Mandarin to facilitate communications with senior management, internal stakeholders as well as external parties<\/li>\n<li>Keen attention to detail and able to work independently with limited supervision<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills, a good team player and a flexible mindset adaptable to changes<\/li>\n<li>Willing to travel extensively<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To apply, please send your CV in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">word doc<\/span> including details on your current salary, expected salary and notice period.
