Company Overview:

This is a China headquartered company with more than 20 years of history in providing logistics solutions globally. They have more than 10,000 employees with a revenue size of about SGD 10 billion. They have a sizeable logistics portfolio across China. 

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Group Chairman and Corporate Finance Director at the Sponsor level, you will generally be responsible in providing leadership, strategic planning and market insights to them in regards to their real estate portfolio in China for a REIT listing in Singapore.

Job Description:

Responsible for determining the strategy for the REIT and they will also include capital markets, finance and Investor Relations as well as compliance and legal functions.  You will undertake the end to end cycle of this capital market initiative and will be involved in performing deal structures and designing framework etc. You will be working closely with external parties such as lawyers and bankers. You will also build your own team comprising of CFO, Finance Manager, Investor Relations and any other corporate functions relating to the day to day management of the REIT company.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics/ Engineering etc with at least 10 years of leadership role in a Real Estate Company/ REIT related companies.
  • In depth knowledge of Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance and Risk Management practices.
  • Strong problem solving and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
  • High level of integrity with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • Able to communicate in Mandarin/Chinese so as to liaise with the company’s sponsor and working partners in China and Hong Kong.
