We collect information such as your contact details, employment and education history, salary details etc. In case of successful placements, we also collect the contact details of your referees for reference check purposes as well as your NRIC/FIN/Passport number for reporting to the Ministry of Manpower as per their requirements. Your failure to provide such information may cause your inability to use our services normally.

 

How will we use the information about you?

We use your information to manage your job application needs including recruitment, processing and termination with us / our clients and to provide you with employment and employability services.

 

We only use your NRIC/FIN/Passport number and other national identification information where this is required by law. In addition, we may use your information to market our products and services to you, and those of our group companies, partners and agents (with your consent where required by applicable laws).

 

Who do we share your information with?

We share your data with our third party service providers, to the extent necessary for them to provide their services, such as CRM and cloud storage providers. We use these third parties’ services solely to process or store your information for the purposes described in this policy. We also share your information with our client companies who are providing the job positions for recruitment purposes as well as government bodies as required by applicable laws.

 

Where do we process your information?

Our servers are located in Singapore. We transfer your information to our clients who are providing the job positions for recruitment purposes. Our staff are located in our office based in Singapore.

 

How long do we keep hold of your information?

We retain your information for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, for the legal or business purposes of Tri-Cap Consulting, or as required by applicable laws. We will usually keep your Customer Data for up to 7 years to ensure that any contractual disputes can be addressed.

We collect Customer Data whenever you use our services, including when you submit your resume to us via email, third party job portals, or our website or when you interact with us via email and social media.

 

Where you disclose personal data of another person to us, such as providing contact details of referees for reference checks or referring another individual to Tri-Cap Consulting Pte. Ltd, you undertake to ensure that the individual whose Customer Data supplied to us has, where required under applicable data protection laws, authorised the disclosure, is informed of, and agrees to the provisions of this Privacy Policy.

 

  1. IS THE PROVISION OF CUSTOMER DATA REQUIRED?

 

The collection of the following types of Customer Data is mandatory to enable us provide our recruitment services to you. If you do not provide this information, we will not be able to provide you with our services required.

 

Additional information may be mandatory on successful placements, such as contact details of referees for reference checks and NRIC/FIN/Passport numbers for mandatory reporting to the Ministry of Manpower as legally required.

 

  1. HOW WE USE AND DISCLOSE YOUR CUSTOMER DATA

 

We are required to disclose the purposes for processing your data under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act. If you are based in Singapore, you consent to each of the purposes for processing your data as set out below.

 

We will use the Customer Data in the following ways:

  • Process the submission of job applications to our client companies who are providing the job positions for recruitment purposes.
  • From time to time, we may contact you via electronic mail, telephone (call or SMS-Text), or social medial platforms, to inform you about our / clients’ job opportunities that we think may be of interest to you.
  • The Customer Data may be disclosed to your referees for the purpose of processing reference checks in the event of successful placements.
  • The Customer Data of your referees may be disclosed to our client companies for the purposes of processing reference checks in the event of successful placements.
  • The Customer Data may be disclosed to third-party service providers who provide CRM and cloud storage services to Tri-Cap Consulting.
  • The Customer Data may be disclosed to government bodies as required by applicable laws.

 

  1. TRANSFER OF INFORMATION OVERSEAS

 

Our office is based in Singapore. Customer Data will be transmitted to data storage facilities where we keep our central records. Customer Data will be transferred to our CRM agent and cloud service provider in connection with our provision of services to you.

 

  1. GENERAL DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS

 

Access

You have the right to know whether we process Customer Data about you, and if we do, to access Customer Data we hold about you and certain information about how we use it and who we share it with.

 

Where permitted by law, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable administrative fee for this service. In exceptional circumstances, we reserve the right to deny you access to your Customer Data and may provide an explanation as required by applicable laws.

 

If you wish to withdraw your consent to any use or disclosure of your Personal Data as set out in this Personal Data Protection Policy, you may contact us via enquiries@tri-cap.com.sg.

 

Please note that if you withdraw your consent to any or all use or disclosure of your Personal Data, depending on the nature of your request, we may no longer be in a position to continue to provide employment and employability services to you.

 

Such a withdrawal may therefore result in the termination of any job application that you may have with us.

 

Exceptional circumstances include (to the extent allowable under applicable law) where:

  • an investigating authority or government institution objects to us complying with a customer’s request;
  • the information may, in the exercise of our reasonable discretion and/or assessment, affect the life or security of an individual; and
  • data is collected in connection with an investigation of a breach of contract, suspicion of fraudulent activities or contravention of law.

 

Correction

You have the right to correct any Customer Data held about you that is inaccurate.

 

Feedback and Complaints

If you have any concerns, feedback or complaints about the use and/or sharing of your Customer Data, we are open to receiving your feedback or complaints.

 

Exercise of Rights

In order to process your request promptly, we kindly ask you to include the necessary identification details with your request as well as any other information necessary to confirm your identity or to process your request. Such information may include the following:
